D/∆S·28
The DAS-28 is a clinical score — 28 joints examined, inflammation measured, disease activity quantified. A number between 0 and 10 that tells a rheumatologist how much the body is fighting itself.
CORPUS DATUM takes that number and makes it visible. The clinical data — joint counts, blood markers, symptom logs — becomes the raw material for a 3D sculptural body that responds in real time. Inflammation is not a statistic here. It is a form. The body under attack becomes an object of contemplation, a figure that carries its own history of damage and persistence.
This is a work about living inside a body that does not cooperate. About the chronic condition as a creative condition. About making something from the data of your own dissolution.
The Control interface is private — the artist operates it. What you see is the result: a body shaped by real clinical data, updated in real time, offered without explanation or apology.
