ALTƏRƏD_D∆T∆'S WPG

A web page is a space. A space can be a gallery.

White Page Gallery/s is a decentralized and distributed art network born in June 2019 — an online network for artistic sharing composed of artists, curators, academies, festivals and cultural operators who independently host, on their own websites and not for profit, art projects made and curated by others. The network is built on solidarity, hospitality, inclusion, altruism and mutual support. A distinctive feature is the absence of hierarchies, gatekeepers and vanity: all those who are part of the network have total and independent decision-making ability with respect to the methods, times and artistic projects they choose to exhibit in their spaces. The focus shifts from the work to the practice, from the artist to the community. Online curatorial practice as a civic exercise. Art as a form of culture in the full sense — not just production, but relation.

Let's try not to think about the art world. Let's imagine and build something new. Let's move forwards, from business as usual to business as mutual.

This is ALTƏRƏD_D∆T∆'S node in that network. A page inside DISØRDIN∆RY BÆUTY dedicated to the work of others — artists invited because their work enters into dialogue with this research. Digital art, glitch, new media, and whatever else creates resonance. Just the work, the space, and the connection. The truth is that beauty exists beyond the ordinary.

One project at a time, by invitation.
