∆VƏR/∆GƏ
The Metra of Deviance
The average face is considered beautiful. This is not an aesthetic judgment — it is a statistical observation that became an aesthetic law.
∆VER∆GE takes the mathematical composite of thousands of faces — the mean, the norm, the average — and elevates it to canon. Then it measures your face against it. The deviation from the mean is calculated, labelled, and returned to you as a verdict on your appearance.
The system is not measuring beauty. It is measuring conformity to a mathematical abstraction and calling that conformity beautiful. The canon is not a person. It is an arithmetic mean. You are being judged against something that does not exist.
Submit your face. Receive your deviation score. The metra does not negotiate.
